Industry veteran Paola de Luca, head of Trend Vision Jewellery + Forecasting, a new research center within the VicenzaOro organization of shows, will present her 2013 Trend Report on Thursday, March 1, at 10:30 a.m. at the McGraw-Hill Building in New York City.

De Luca once again addresses the Women’s Jewelry Association membership at its annual In the Know conference (formerly titled Women in the Know); last year, she presented as the cofounder and creative director of the TJF Group. Highlights of the presentation will include four macro and three micro trends, plus influential sociocultural phenomena, as well as relevant design motifs, silhouettes, colors, textures, and product finishes.

Based on her presentation at the VicenzaOro Winter fair last month, expect to learn more about vintage inspirations (including the Art Deco period), recycled materials, chunky links, natural objects like shells, and more.
