Richemont has made changes in the North American divisions of four of its watch brands: Panerai, Roger Dubuis, IWC Schaffhausen, and Piaget.
Laurent Toinet has been named Panerai’s brand manager for North America, according to a posting on LinkedIn. He replaces Philippe Bonay, who left the company at the end of last year, according to WatchPro, which first reported Toinet’s appointment.
Toinet comes to Panerai from Roger Dubuis, where he headed its Americas division for two years. Roger Dubuis has not yet announced his replacement, the brand tells JCK.
At IWC Schaffhausen, Charles Dubos—previously the watchmaker’s brand director for the Netherlands and Nordics—has been appointed North American brand president, he announced on LinkedIn.
Dubos inherits the role from Stanislas Rambaud, who had served as IWC’s American brand president since 2021. Rambaud will, in turn, become American brand president for Piaget. He takes over from Greg Weeter, who left the company last October, according to his LinkedIn.
These personnel moves are not the only changes happening at Richemont’s watch division—it recently sold Baume & Mercier to Italian luxury group Damiani.
