Pandora’s U.S. sales in the first quarter jumped 9.2 percent in dollar terms, according to the company’s latest financial results.
Overall U.S. revenue totaled DKK 876 million, or $160 million.
“Growth was driven by an increased demand for products launched in the last 12 months, as well as the improved store network,” said a statement.
Sales at its U.S. concept stores posted strong results, jumping 8.5 percent over the prior year.
Overall, the company posted strong financial results, with sales growing and profits leaping to 2.6 billion DKK ($477 million), a 29.5 percent increase over the prior year. Net profit for the quarter was DKK 704 million ($129 million), a 37 percent increase over last year.
The best performing regions for the company were Asia-Pacific and Europe, where sales increased 54.3 percent and 49.2 percent, respectively.
