Origami Owl Appoints Two Top Officers

Origami Owl, the custom jewelry company famed for being founded by a 14-year-old, has appointed two executives to two roles. 

Deb Bursley, who joined the company in early 2013 as senior vice president of marketing, has been promoted to chief marketing officer. Bursley has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience. 

Tricia Chiodo was appointed chief financial officer. Chiodo brings with her more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving as CFO at RSC Equipment Rental, where she led an IPO. 

Bella Weems founded the Chandler, Ariz.–based company, known for its Living Lockets, when she was 14 and wanted money to buy a car—a unique story that has been featured on Good Morning America and elsewhere.
