There are a lot of favorites in October for me: favorite month, favorite season, favorite holiday, and (for the jewelry enthusiasts) favorite birthstone. Maybe it’s odd to favor a birthstone that isn’t your own, but I’m likely not the only one. Opal is just too darn good not to covet for yourself.
