One-of-a-Kind Peridot for Now and Forever

Share

Halloween candy has descended upon the aisles of our favorite stores, interspersed with racks of costumes. Starbucks has made its pumpkin spice latte available earlier than ever. The kids have gone back to school, in whatever capacity they can. There’s no denying it, we’re staring down the barrel of autumn.

And what a lovely sight it is! But before we step into September and savor all those sapphires (sigh, it really is the best), I think acknowledging peridot one final time in this month of August is in order.

Because actually, peridot is an epic match for the colors of fall. Those browns, maroons, and golds—they all exist beautifully with the chartreuse green that headlines this month. If anything, I’d say peridot is an even better fit for fall than it is for summer.

Which is why important peridot pieces—big, one-of-a-kind, and fabulous—are ripe for the picking as August comes to a close. It’s the perfect opportunity to honor thy birthstone while carrying into a new month and new season a standout piece that helps one to feel special and refreshed.

Of course, one need not have been born in August to desire such a stone, and it often seems as if many of us want anything but our own birthstones anyway (why is that?). But with jewels like these, anyone would be powerless to resist peridot.
