Photo shoots can err on the dramatic side. Today, drama appeared in some as-yet-to-arrive boxes of merchandise delayed by bad weather. We still have plenty on set to shoot, and the missing pieces could give little-used companies a chance to appear in the magazine. Our photo director Leah came up with the idea of placing the jewelry down across ice, so that will be our aesthetic. Our photographer, Ted Morrison, wanted to retain the mystery of the setup, so you’ll have to wait until February to see the finished pages.
