We’re on day two of our October holiday-issue photo shoot, and despite some disappointments—no Vivaan tanzanite necklace and several other vendors declined to send goods because of possible celebrity placements at this weekend’s Emmy Awards—we were all basically pleased with the merchandise we did procure. It’s never a bad thing when Siegelson loans you a vintage gold and diamond Mauboussin bracelet or when we can potentially cast a spotlight onto newer vendor Estenza (in San Francisco) and its selection of geometric-inspired gold and gemstone styles.
