Jeweler Harry A. “Al” Beerbower, of Duncansville, Pa., died Monday.
He was 84.
Beerbower and his wife, Mildred, whom he married in 1950, founded Beerbower
Jewelers in Hollidaysburg, Pa., in 1954. An army veteran, Beerbower served
during World War II and attended Elgin Watchmakers College, Elgin, Ill., on the
GI Bill of Rights.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Jane L. and Don and wife,
Karen; three grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Guell.
