Obit: Jules Rand

Rand and Paseka, a manufacturer of gold and silver religious jewelry in the United States, regrets the passing of Jules Rand. Jules is survived by his wife and three children. Although Jules had not been involved with the day to day operations of the company for the past few years, he was still considered by many in the industry as a pillar of the jewelry community.

Rand was a philanthropist and humanitarian. His funeral was attended by hundreds and he was given a police escort to the cemetery which closed down the Southern State Parkway on Long Island.

The Freeport, New York-based factory, which has been family operated since 1951, will continue to be run by his son Michael and his son-in-law Marc Schwab.

David Freed has also joined the team as director of Sales and Marketing.  The company is expanding with the introduction of new product lines and new white gold crosses and medals, both hollow and solid. For further information contact: david@randpaseka.com.
