NYC Marathon Winners Get TAG Heuer Connected Watches

On Sunday, Nov. 6, six top finishers of the TCS New York City Marathon received an extra prize, from TAG Heuer: a Connected smartwatch.

As the official timekeeper of the five-borough race, TAG Heuer presented the timepiece to the professional male and female champions (Eritrea’s Ghirmay Ghebreslassie and Kenya’s Mary Keitany), the male and female pro wheelchair race winners (Switzerland’s Marcel Hug and the USA’s Tatyana McFadden, taking her fifth NYC Marathon title), and the first-place American finishers (Abdi Abdirahman and Molly Huddle, who also came in third place overall).

This marks the third year that the Swiss brand has partnered with the 26.2-mile race, which this year welcomed a record 51,388 finishers—making it the largest marathon ever.
