Everyone needs a little relief after a hard day on the show floor. While in
Vegas, relieve a little show tension and stress with one of the many
entertainment opportunities on The Strip. In between hectic days on the show
floor and evening trade events, find some time to enjoy the abundance of
non-work related events. Last week, we reviewed the Treasure Island Cirque Du
Soleil show Mystère.
For this edition of JCK’s Countdown to Vegas, we focus on bringing you a

Viva ELVIS Cirque du Soleil

Elvis lives! Graceland may be home to his shrine but it’s Las Vegas that pays homage to the spirit of
Elvis the entertainer. Cirque du Soleil presents Viva Elvis, a show that
celebrates the life and music of The King through a blend of dance, acrobatics,
live music and video clips.

Barbra & Frank: The Concert That Never Was

In a fantastic night of musically imagining what might have been, Barbra
Streisand and Frank Sinatra go toe-to-toe with all their hits. Tribute artists
Sharon Owens and Sebastian Anzaldo impersonate the legendary personalities in
sound and spirit.

Disney’s The Lion King

Jersey Boys is the acclaimed Broadway hit that follows the
lives of Frankie Valli, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi and Bob Gaudio and their epic

different perspective when it comes to telling their version of the story.

Legends In Concert is the second longest-running show in Las Vegas (over 25
years!). On any given night, tribute artists may embody the countrified soul of
Dolly Parton, the mellow funk of Barry White, or Madonna’s sexy strut. And at
Harrah’s at least, Elvis has not left the building.

All you need is…LOVE Cirque du Soleil, a show that’s a
psychedelic mix of acrobatics, dance and visual effects, to the tunes of The

songs.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s s smash hit Phantom of the Opera gets
a makeover with Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular. $40 million went into the
custom-built theater designed to resemble Opera Garnier in Paris. The show has been cut down to about 90
minutes but the famous songs from the haunting musical remain intact.
