Longtime jewelry ad-sales executive Norman Miller, who recently hosted Jewelers of America’s GEM Awards, has been named the executive vice president and publisher of Elite Traveler magazine.
Founders Doug Gollan and Daniel Wade are leaving the publication, which is aimed at the private jet market.
Miller has 30 years’ experience in luxury publishing, mostly recently serving as senior vice president, sales and marketing of Niche Media. He began as an editorial intern at National Jeweler magazine in 1980, eventually transitioning to sales. He has held positions at The New Yorker, Playbill, Marie Claire, Martha Stewart Living, and most recently served as chairman of the 2015 GEM Awards.
