David Yurman Enterprises has received a $631,223 grant from the state of New Jersey to set up a new facility in Lyndhurst.
The grant, which is based on the company’s taxes, was awarded by the state’s Economic Development Authority.
The manufacturer would be moving operations, mainly logistics and IT, that are currently handled by the company’s headquarters in New York City, according to an authority memo. It is estimated that the new $5.1 million facility will employ 120 people, the memo said.
Yurman is also looking at building the facility in Philadelphia but has not yet finalized its plans.
David Yurman declined to comment on the grant.
