One of the highlights of the recent JCK Show ~ Las Vegas 2006 was the brand new Vicenza Oro Pavilion—where retailers from around the world were able to experience the sights, tastes, and hottest new trends of Italy. More than 200 Italian manufacturers and designers showcased Italian jewelry and design in the new Pavilion located in three Venetian Hotel Ballrooms.
Developed in partnership with Vicenza Fiera International and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Commission of Los Angeles, this space hosted amenities that included Italian food, wines, and sweets.
“The successful debut of the Italian Pavilion is very promising for the future,” said Turcato CEO, Vicenza Fiera International. “It is always satisfying to create business opportunities for the coveted Italian Manufacturers.”
Even the industry editors were impressed with the new pavilion. Hedda Schupak, editor in chief, JCK Magazine said, “The Pavilion was beautiful. The architecture was indeed reminiscent of an Italian village and being in it did mentally transport me to Vicenza for a few minutes. It even smelled good, and the cobblestone-patterned carpet was the piece de resistance that goes to prove attention to detail is what provides a transformational experience. All told, a most refreshing break to step in there.”
