If you know a video-game-playing kid between the ages of 8 and 18, you probably know about Minecraft, the extremely popular video game that allows users to construct worlds using digital blocks.
A new bracelet allows players to take their worlds with them wherever they go.
Called the Gameband + Minecraft, the wearable plugs into a Linux, Mac, or Windows computer through a USB port, automatically loading the wearer’s worlds for instant play. During play, the worlds are automatically saved to the bracelet and to the cloud.
The band has an LED display for a digital clock, and the user can also create custom animations for the display.
It is not a beautiful bracelet, but for kids obsessed with the game, it might be just perfect.
The bands are available at Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and the Microsoft Store and retail for $79.99.
