New GIA Distance Education Quarterly Now Available Online

The Gemological Institute of America’s latest Distance Education Quarterly is
now available online.

The issue focuses on career and business strategies for the holidays.

The issue targets both current and prospective GIA Distance Education students,
and offers business insight from Susan M. Jacques, president and CEO of
Borsheims Fine Jewelry and Gifts, the largest single jewelry store in the
nation. Other key stories focus on ethics and jewelry; power networking; men’s
jewelry tips; and proposal planning assistance for nervous, soon-to-be grooms.

The new Distance Education Quarterly also provides detailed insight into the
many eLearning options and on-site lab classes available for GIA Education’s
Graduate Gemologist, Graduate Diamonds, Graduate Colored Stones and Graduate
Pearls Diploma programs as well as its Accredited Jewelry Professional Diploma
program.
New 2011 domestic and international class schedules, along with full course
descriptions, are included.
