The Tucson gem shows—all 40 plus of them—represent an annual favorite experience for many, and the AGTA GemFair Tucson venue is the home base for them all. The five-day show organized by the AGTA and held at the Tucson Convention Center represents some of the most reputable gemstone dealers working with the most rare, uncommon, and cleverly cut loose goods, with a few flat-out stunning finished items worked into the mix. During the show, I live tweeted images of pieces seen on the show floor and uploaded them to Instagram, too, but here’s a pictorial roundup of highlights from exhibitors.
