The shoppable platform partners with retailers to return search results
The list of shopping apps that crawl the Internet for fashion and jewelry looks shown in street style photos is growing.
But Craves, a new (free) shopping app from the developers of the popular Slyce shopping app, not only returns visually similar results to looks users post—it also features a social element: Users can follow friends and influencers and browse through trending items and sale notifications directly through the app.
Shoppers also purchase items directly through the user-friendly platform. Craves earns its revenue through an affiliate program, currently partnering with a mix of biggie brands and indie boutiques such as Nasty Gal, Coach, Lord & Taylor, Yoox, ASOS, Singer22, and Silver Jeans.
