Neil Lane to Speak at Chicago’s Richard H. Driehaus Museum

Designer and collector Neil Lane will present “From Brooklyn to Hollywood: A Journey in Jewels” at Chicago’s Richard H. Driehaus Museum on April 30.

The lecture, which is sponsored by Northern Trust, Sotheby’s, Neil Lane Jewelry, and Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, ties into the museum’s current exhibition, “Maker & Muse: Women and Early Twentieth Century Art Jewelry,” which is on view until Jan. 3, 2016, and features 250 works of art jewelry created between the Victorian era and World War I. Several pieces from Lane’s personal collection of period jewelry are on display as part of the exhibition.

Tickets for the lecture are $45 and are available by calling 312-482-8933.
