NCDIA Sparkles at Latin Music Awards

The Natural Colored Diamond Association was the official and exclusive jewelry sponsor for the 2008 Billboard Latin Music Awards, held April 10 in Hollywood, Fla.

NCDIA hosted a celebrity jewelry suite featuring more than $30 million worth of jewelry from Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Black, Starr & Frost and Anchorage, Aka.-based George Walton’s Gold and Diamond Company. Celebrity artists and presenters visited for two days prior to the ceremony to select pieces to wear for the event.

Fanny Lu, winner of the Tropical Airplay Song of the Year, New Artist, “Y Si Te Digo,” wore 3.04-ct. yellow natural color diamond earrings from Amgad, and a yellow gold bracelet with 1.91-cts. of pave-set colored diamonds, by Christian Tse. 

Singer Kat de Luna wore an 18k white gold necklace with natural color black and white diamonds.
