The Natural Color Diamond Association has appointed Tom Gelb its educational director.
Gelb, a certified gemologist and former manager of the Gemological Institute of America, has more than 18 years of experience in the industry.
He plans to host seminars throughout the year, including an event at the JCK show in Las Vegas where he will educate retailers on how to market and sell natural color diamonds.
“Gelb is one of the top gemologists for color diamonds and we are pleased to have him working with us to enhance our educational programs to consumers and our growing membership base,” Jordan Fine, secretary of the Natural Color Diamond Association, said in a statement.
