From high-end jewels to the most budget-conscious costume designs, gemstones, real or faux, in a mix of colors are providing eye-catching fashion accents. Since bold prints and patterns and color-blocking in bright mixes of colors have trained our eyes to become used to wild combinations of color, it only makes sense that jewelry would follow.
Bright sapphire and amethyst earrings from M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza, and a pair of embellished bracelets from Lanvin are featured as a report on a “Bohemian Rhapsody” trend reported in the November 2012 issue of Elle: “Eclectic, straight-from-the-bazaar pieces get luxed up with sharp silhouettes and dazzling stones.” The model wears an ensemble from Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci along with jade bead bracelets with diamonds from Sydney Evan and a carved horn-shape bracelet from A Peace Treaty.
