The United States trustee overseeing the bankruptcy of Michael Beaudry Inc. has filed a motion to put the company into Chapter 7, court records show.
The Los Angeles–based manufacturer and related company Centerstone Diamonds filed for Chapter 11 in June 2009.
Spokeswoman Rebecca Moskal says that the company in question, Michael Beaudry Inc., hasn’t been used for a while and is closing. However, the designer is focusing on his new business, Beaudry International. She also stressed that the designer is not personally impacted by this closure.
Beaudry was listed as a top bridal design name on a 2011 list compiled by United Brands.
