According to a release by IJO, Morris Green was found, along with his wife, Charlotte, dead of an apparent murder/suicide. Morris, of Green Brothers in New York, was 76 and his wife was 78.
Morris, a diamond supplier to IJO, was selected as the recipient of the very first IJO Ultimate Appreciation Award on February 20, 2000, to recognize the fact that he gave of himself unselfishly and consistently, above and beyond all expectation, with no thought for personal gain.
Morris and Charlotte leave three grown children.
Services will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, November 1st, at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd. (at 76th Road), Forest Hills, NY 11375, 800.690.1646.
