
Gemological Science International (GSI) has named lab veteran Monika Biernacka (pictured) its new executive vice president of operations.
Biernacka has 30 years’ experience in the gemological laboratory sector. She previously worked for 28 years as the International Gemological Institute (IGI), serving as a director of sales and senior account executive, according to LinkedIn.
At GSI, Biernacka will focus on enhancing GSI’s client experiences and develop and execute new sales and operational initiatives.
Founded in 2005 in New York City, GSI has laboratory facilities spanning four continents.
