Akron, Ohio–based Kay Jewelers announced the debut of a jewelry line made in collaboration with the Emmy-nominated actress Sofia Vergara. 

The actress partnered with Kay Jewelers to create the Sofia Vergara So Sofia jewelry collection, which includes rings, necklaces, earrings, and bangle bracelets in 10k gold and sterling silver with gemstones such as amethyst, tanzanite, and topaz. Each piece has a hidden natural emerald to symbolize Vergara’s home country, renowned for its emerald supply. Designs are classic—gemstone centers with halos of topaz pavé and oversize geometric silhouettes—and made to represent the actresses’ “playful, vibrant, and sexy style,” according to Kay.

Vergara told the media, “I’ve loved jewelry since the day I was born…and don’t feel dressed without it—I never even go to sleep without jewelry on. It’s how I express myself, my style, attitude, and the way I feel.” Vergara, who was born in Colombia, is one of the most talented and powerful women in Hispanic entertainment according to The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.

Kay’s president Ed Hrabak, meanwhile, stated in a release that firm always seeks “to provide our customers with the most innovative and exciting brands in the industry.”

According to a Kay spokesperson, the Sofia Vergara So Sofia collection debuted last month, features approximately 60 styles, and ranges in price from $169 to $1,599 (retail).
