A book published by the press has received the Silver Award in the organization’s annual Excel competition
Jewelry Metals: A Guide to Working With Common Alloys, a book published by MJSA Press, received the Silver Award in the 2016 Association Media & Publishing Excel competition.
The annual competition honors excellence in association publishing.
Jewelry Metals was published in 2015. The book is a practical guide to working with jewelry metals and includes illustrated instructions on metalworking techniques.
The editor of the book is James Binnion, owner of James Binnion Metal Arts in Bellingham, Wash.
The book previously won a Bronze Ribbon in the 2015 Association Trends All Media Contest, which is presented by Association Trends, the publication for associations.
