MJSA Expo New York to Feature Seminars and Social Event

Registrations are now being accepted for the MJSA Expo New York to be held March 18-20 at the Jacob K. Javits Center.

Sponsored by the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America, the MJSA Expo New York is the largest trade show in the United States devoted to jewelry manufacturing. The show features more than 400 booths, a full roster of technical seminars, and an annual social event.

The MJSA Jewelry Academy at Expo New York has seminars devoted to designing, selling, and making jewelry. Topics range from technical and manufacturing issues to business topics such as public relations and marketing your products.

Expo also features a pre-show program, Behind the Design: Designer Day. Co-sponsored by MJSA and Cindy Edelstein of the Jeweler’s Resource Bureau, Designer Day offers the opportunity to receive advice from renowned designers and industry experts on such topics as branding, producing a collection, selling to retailers, and pricing.

This year’s big social event is the Saint Patrick’s on March 18, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., at P.J. Clarke’s. The event includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and a buffet.
