The jewelry industry charity jewelersthatcare.org has announced that Microsoft Corp. has agreed to support its efforts.
Through its partner, Business Computing Inc., Microsoft will impose an automatic 20 percent discount on the suggested retail price for any Microsoft Dynamics NAV e-Jewelry and will split the discount at 50 percent, a percentage that will go to jewelersthatcare.org as a donation from the purchasing jeweler.
One of the projects supported by the program is building a water well in a rural village in Tanzania.
