Johnny Weir may take men’s fashion to a new level with the 10 pounds of jewelry he packed for Sochi, but the regular guy…not so much. Average Joes will wear a watch, a wedding band, and maybe a pendant necklace, but that’s it! Is this because men’s jewelry, like bridal, doesn’t change too much in style so there’s not much newness to be enthused about, or because guys haven’t yet tapped their inner Olympic commentator and fur-coat-loving selves? Who knows how many Johnnys may be in hiding among our men, but until they come forward, JCK will speak to the conservative fellows. Here are some of the pieces we’ll consider shooting this week for the April issue.
Half Dome Wide ring in silver, $145; La Corza
Marksman cufflinks in silver, $300; Hot Caliber
Geneva Cayman money clip in 24k gold and silver inlay, Amboyna burl wood, and white topaz, $395; William Henry
