Meet the Rising Stars at JCK Las Vegas

The Design Center at JCK Las Vegas is a collection of exhibitors that have been vetted and approved by a jury of designers, magazine editors and public relations consultants.  The best candidates are hand-selected for admission. Alisa, Alishan, Christian Tse, Frank Reubel, Ginger Peachy, Hidalgo, Jorge Revilla, Rebecca Overman, Robert Wander, Starhaven by Liz Donohue, Sugarman-Frantz, Susan Sadler, Suzanne Kalan, Thistle & Bee, and Van Lachman are just a sampling of the designers who will be exhibiting in the Design Center in 2009.

JCK Las Vegas has identified eight Rising Stars within this year’s Design Center. Rising Stars make their jewelry trade show debut in Las Vegas and have been recognized as the hottest up-and-coming designers for 2009. “Selecting the Rising Stars is an exciting process, says Bonaparte. “Many of our previous winners have gone on to achieve great success in the marketplace. We have no doubt that the 2009 Rising Stars will also bring fresh new ideas to the industry.”

The Rising Stars for 2009 are Ana Cavalheiro Fine Jewelry, Belle Brooke Designs, Danielle Meshorer, Delisch, SAINT by Sarah Jane, Sarah Weinstock, Steven Anton Rehage, and Yobel SCM, featured below.

Founded in 2005, Ana Cavalheiro Fine Jewelry is inspired by vibrant colors and traditional Portuguese architecture. Ana’s designs bring together her appreciation of the timeless classic with the modern lines.

Belle Brooke Designs Inc. uses sterling silver and 18k gold sprinkled with semiprecious and precious stones to create its signature look. Each piece is made in house by principal designer Belle Brook Barer using only conflict-free stones.

Danielle Meshorer, owner and operator of ESHO, creates unique pieces using materials such as fossilized mammoth tusk, bone, pearls and semiprecious stones. The designs are inspired by nature and harmony between life and landscape.

Each Delisch piece is an original design, handmade in California from specially selected, beautiful natural gems, pearls, and vintage beads and crystals.

Saint by Sarah Jane Inc. uses a range of precious stones to create original, copyrighted designs. Everything Sarah Jane designs stems from her personal experience, including the signature woven patterns that tie most of her pieces together.

Using 18k yellow gold and oxidized sterling silver with diamonds, Sarah Weinstock Designs has quickly garnered media attention. The designer’s clients have appeared on multiple TV shows including Oprah, Today, Tyra Banks, and Dancing with the Stars.

Steven Anton Rehage’s designs combine age-old forging and hammering techniques with sleek, clean lines and iconic symbols in sterling silver. The designs have been featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan, and at several Susan G. Komen charity events.

Yobel SCM uses sterling silver, indigenous natural stones, organic and geometric shapes, and sensible textures to create its signature look. The company was named the best export company in the industry, receiving the Peruvian Company of the Year Award in 2002.
