Continental Buying Group (CBG) has named Matthew Tratner, a veteran of several industry businesses and organizations, its new president.
Andie Weinman, CBG’s founder and owner, has opted to step back from day-to-day operations but will act as a consultant for the group. Joe Murphy will continue as CEO.
In his new role, Tratner will guide CBG’s strategic direction, member engagement, and program development. He most recently served as show director for JA New York and has also worked at Sarine North America, Jewelers of America, and GIA.
