Matthew Stuart Varon, son of California jeweler Russell Varon passed away at the age of 21 January 6th.

A graduate of Peninsula High School, Varon grew up in Palos Verdes surfing, skating, snowboarding, playing lacrosse and hockey. Varon attended the Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, was on the Dean’s list and was scheduled to graduate in 2010.

Varon is survived by his father Russell, his mother Debbie and his sister Morgan.

Services were held on Sunday, January 10th at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes.
