On June 5, Robert (Bobby) L. Chance Jr., owner of W.R. Chance Diamond Jewelers in Annapolis, Md., died at the age of 70.
Chance had been owner of the store since 1964. He was a graduate of Annapolis High School in 1961, and he served in the Maryland National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Chance; his mother, Marie Chance; his children Michelle Priddy and Bruce Chance; his grandchildren, Kyle and Katherine Priddy and Sophie Chance; and his sister, Peggy Purdy.
