To step up expansion into the North American market, Cordoba, Spain–based Bohemme has named Mark Gurdus as the president of Bohemme North America.
The announcement was issued by Luxury Brand Group, a Seal Beach, Calif.–based communications and public relations agency that has also been recently retained by Bohemme to help build the brand’s name in the United States.
Gurdus brings more than 25 years of experience in fine jewelry and luxury watches to his new post, having previously served as the vice president of sales at both Jorg Gray and Oris. Gurdus is a graduate of the University of Memphis and resides in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., with his wife. Bohemme North America is based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
“I am excited to spearhead the expansion of Bohemme in the North American markets,” Gurdus told the media upon release of the news.
The Bohemme line is made in sterling silver with 18k gold accents and features a variety of precious stones as well as a bohemian chic aesthetic. The brand is featured in the November issue of JCK.
