Manning House Show features Jade and Native American artists

The second annual Manning House Show will represent a selection of gem and jewelry arts, sculpture, glass, painting, and photography as well as fine American Indian art and minerals. Artists will be available to discuss their work and inspirations in a gallery atmosphere at the historic Manning House mansion in Tucson, Ariz. The show will be held Feb. 4-7, 2005.

“Around the World in Jade” is the theme of this year’s juried show. Presentations (including daily lectures and open discussions) and an exhibit will span the history of Jade along with its present-day influence.

Award-winning designers Dalan Hargraves and Deborah Meyer will join an international group of talented artists representing a full range of fine art.

The show will conclude with an awards night party in the Lavender Ballroom featuring live music by Linda Sandoval and Larry and Stacia Woods. The winners of The “People’s Choice Competition” in the categories of Jewelry, Gem Art and Sculpture will be presented.
