Manhattan Jeweler Sues Rapper for Bounced Checks

Sean Kingston has been sued twice before by jewelers

Diamond District retailer Aqua Master is suing the rapper Sean Kingston for bad checks.

According to Page Six, the rapper picked out several pieces, including two watches containing 46 cts. t.w. diamonds and a chain with 99 cts. t.w. diamonds.

He reportedly paid a $1,000 deposit and promised that the $301,500 balance would come via wire transfer from his manager; instead, the jeweler received two checks that bounced.

Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, has been in trouble with jewelers before. He was sued in 2014 by Avi Da Jeweler and again earlier this year by Haimov Jewelers in Florida.
