The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce (MCC) has named Myron Toback Inc. its 2014 Retailer of the Year.
Joy Toback-Galicki, the co-owner and vice president of the jewelry suppy company, accepted the award at a ceremony on Nov. 6. Myron Toback is located in New York’s Diamond District and was founded in 1963. The business currently employs three generations of the Toback family, including Toback-Galicki, her husband, Eli, and their son Zachary.
Toback-Galicki has been a Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) member since 1983 and has served as a national board member and mentorship chairman. She has also served on the executive committee for MJSA, the association of jewelry makers and designers and served as the first female president of the Golden Circle Club of New York.
