A 27-year old man was charged with the murder of a
Philadelphia jewelry store owner Nov. 10, according to a local news report.
Investigators charged Obina Onyiah with the murder of 67-year old jewelry-store owner Bill
Glatz. Onyiah and Glatz exchanged gunshots during a robbery at William Glatz
Jewelers on Oct. 21.
Onyiah’s
accomplice Kevin Turner died as a result of the incident but Onyiah was able to
flee in a black car driven by someone else. Investigators say the driver is
sill on the loose. According to the report, Onyiah has also been charged with
weapons violations and related offenses.
