Malca-Amit has announced that all losses arising from the Feb. 18 diamond heist at Brussels Airport would be paid in full.
According to a release by the company, the payment process has already begun. In less than 72 hours from the incident, Malca-Amit, in collaboration with its insurance broker MIRA, had received underwriters’ approval for payment of insurance claims in full.
“Regardless of the magnitude of a catastrophic incident, Malca-Amit’s focus is to ensure absolute peace of mind for our clients,” Nigel Paxman, Malca-Amit CEO, said in a statement. “By providing total transparency and assurance around the clock, our clients are kept informed of developments, secure in the knowledge that Malca-Amit provides absolute coverage in every transaction.”
