As the holidays pass by at the speed of light, new jewelry collections for 2019 are starting to make their debuts. So while you’re busy helping customers find the perfect gifts, and wrapping them up with a bow, it’s nice to have an idea of what the new year will bring in terms of favorite products and trends.
For your price-point category, the Swarovski-owned Chamilia has announced a great contender with its new collection, Mademoiselle.
Mademoiselle, which in English translates to miss, refers to a younger woman, though more specifically, it’s used to address an unmarried French woman. To me, though, and in terms of this collection, it seems more fitting to think of the mademoiselle as a little lady—one not quite old enough to consider the prospect of marriage anyway, but perhaps grown-up enough to have formed some opinion on style.
That’s the sweet spot for the new charm collection, featuring six designs in sterling silver, 14k gold, or the brand’s Chamilia Blush. The antique-inspired line is decorated with Swarovski crystals, with popular icons of yore—a rosebud, a fan, a pattern of stained glass—decorating the colorful beads.
“This year, we decided to ring in the new year with something vintage, said head of merchandising and brand communications, Kristin Coaker, in a press release. “Jewelry lovers have been collecting delightful charms for centuries—these vintage motifs are just as endearing today. We know the customer agrees and wanted to bring her a piece of that nostalgia for her very own jewel box.”
The Mademoiselle collection will be available starting January 14, 2019, through Chamilia’s retail partners worldwide and on its website. For more information, visit chamilia.com.
