
LVMH veteran Michael Burke has been appointed chairman and CEO of LVMH Americas. He began in the role July 7 and reports to Stéphane Bianchi, LVMH’s managing director.
In a statement, LVMH said Burke “will be responsible for representing and promoting the best interests of the group in North and South America, in a complex and evolving geopolitical period.”
Burke has worked for LVMH since the 1980s and most recently was chairman and CEO of its fashion group, which includes Celine, Givenchy, Kenzo, Loewe, Marc Jacobs, Patou, Pucci, and Rossimoda.
He previously served as CEO of LVMH brands Christian Dior USA, Fendi, and Bulgari. Since January 2021, he has chaired LVMH-owned Tiffany’s board of directors.
