LVMH Acquires Swiss Dial Maker ArteCad

Luxury conglomerate LVMH announced that it had acquired all of the shares of ArteCad SA, one of the leading manufacturers of Swiss watch dials.

This transaction will enable LVMH to reinforce its industrial integration in watchmaking and guarantee its independence in the area of watch dials. LVMH already produces mechanical movements as well as cases, dials, and bracelets.

Founded in 1885, ArteCad has 215 employees working in its main facility located at Tramelan, Switzerland, manufacturing more than 350,000 watch dials a year for LVMH brands as well as numerous other prestigious Swiss timepiece manufacturers.
