The curated exhibition and sale of artist-made jewelry in Manhattan has become a destination for contemporary art and studio jewelry, by both artists and collectors, as it affords the public the opportunity to acquire pieces directly from some of the world’s best talent. This year, works from more than 50 emerging and established artists will be on sale; prices for pieces will range from $200 to $12,000, with $1,000 serving as the average ticket price. Proceeds will benefit the museum’s exhibition and education programs.
The affair will kick off with a gala benefit and dinner honoring fashion icons Iris Apfel and Barbara Berger, on the evening of Oct. 1.
