LookSee Bracelet Displays Texts With E-Ink

LookSee Bracelet OK from Andrea Quagliata on Vimeo.

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is under way and along with it, there is a heap of exciting new wearable jewels.

Among them is the LookSee bracelet, a cuff that displays images and notifications using e-ink, the same technology used in the Amazon Kindle and other e-readers. The rechargeable battery lasts up to a year on a single charge.

An accompanying app allows the user to customize the screen, which is always on, with patterns, photography, and notifications, which can be filtered by keyword. Some patterns come with the app, though the most attractive feature seems to be the ability to display your own images on the bracelet. All images will be in gray scale.

The bracelets are currently available for preorder, though a price has not yet been announced.
