James N. Fernandez, a 30-year Tiffany veteran who currently serves as both chief operating officer and chief financial officer, will retire in July.
He will be replaced by Ralph Nicoletti, who will fill the roles of executive vice president and chief financial officer. Nicoletti joins the company from insurance company CIGNA, where he also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Following Fernandez’s retirement, the position of chief operating officer will be eliminated.
Fernandez has served as chief financial officer since November and also filled the role from 1989 to 2011. He has been chief operating officer since 2011.
