On Oct. 6, Jose Arquero Hidalgo, the editor and publisher of the Spanish gem and jewelry magazine Gold & Time, died in Madrid. He was 55.
Hidalgo suffered a brain hemorrhage the day before.
“Pepe,” as he was known by his friends, was an icon in the Spanish gem and jewelry industry.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa, and their three children, Teresa, Jose, and Marta.
