Long’s Jewelers, a six-store chain based in Boston, has appointed Jana Bethlem (pictured) as its director of stores.

Bethlem will join the store’s executive team. Her primary responsibility will be overseeing Long’s stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Prior to joining Long’s, Bethlem spent the past 12 years at Christian Dior—as a boutique manager in various markets across North America for several years, eventually becoming a training and operations manager, then senior boutique director of the brand’s global flagship in Manhattan. Since 2021, she has been a regional director at Christian Dior, responsible for eight locations.

In a statement, Long’s Jewelers president Craig Rottenberg said the retailer has doubled its sales versus the past two years.

Long’s operates five multibrand jewelry stores in or near Boston, as well as a 4,600-square-foot Rolex Boutique in Boston’s Newbury Street shopping district. Later this year, Long’s will open a second store on Newbury Street. The new store’s first floor will be dedicated to the Patek Philippe brand, while the second floor will display curated collections of jewelry.
