On Aug. 23, New York City diamond company Lazare Kaplan International announced the appointment of John Hyla as the regional sales manager for the southeast region of the United States.
Hyla comes to LKI with more than 20 years of experience in the diamond industry, including stints as M. Fabrikant, Judith Leiber, and Wright Kay Jewelers. Most recently, he worked at Gabriel & Co., where he was responsible for accounts in the southeast and the Caribbean.
